Diagnostic Dream: Brain Cancer

In the February 1983 issue of the Dream Network Bulletin, Dr. Siegel reported that a patient with breast cancer dreamed her head was shaved and the word “cancer” written on it. She awoke with the knowledge that her cancer had metastasized (spread) to her brain, even though no physical symptoms were then present. Three weeks later her dream diagnosis was confirmed.

(Reported in Our Dreaming Mind; Robert Van de Castle, Ph.D. P. 366.)

Van de Castle’s book is a comprehensive review of the history and meaning of dreams, one of the best books out there….
