Kasatkin: Dream of a Detached Kidney

Kasatkin gave an example of a physician who had a recurring dream that one on his young patients was being attacked by muggers.

The doctor tried to help the patient in the dream but couldn’t.

Finally, he saw the patient lying in the street with a long wound across the stomach, his right kidney being detached from his body.

Kasatkin noted that it was actually the doctor’s own right kidney that was seriously infected.
